People are considered an organization’s greatest asset; however people can also create significant risk for an organization if not understood, managed and measured. This session will provide a different way of thinking about people risk through culture, conduct and metrics.

Jennifer Aydelott

Senior VP and Human Resources Control Executive, Wells Fargo

Jennifer Aydelott is a Senior Vice President and Human Resources Control Executive. In this role, she is accountable for assessing and enabling the effective management of front line risks and controls within the Human Resources line of business. She and her team support and consult with HR on control design, control effectiveness, risk mitigation strategy, and self-assurance requirements in compliance with applicable Corporate policies and regulatory requirements. She ensures strong cooperation and engagement between HR, independent risk management, and Wells Fargo Audit Services. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Aydelott served as Enterprise Functions’ Compliance Executive for Ally Financial, where she was responsible for building a Compliance Program to provide a holistic view of compliance for the company’s control functions. Aydelott has built and supported HR Risk programs for GMAC Mortgage, Countrywide Mortgage, and Bank of America. With more than 18 years of experience in financial services, Aydelott has partnered with corporate functions to aid in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks generated in control functions. Her experience includes leadership positions with global financial Institutions. Aydelott received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and her Juris Doctor from Stetson University, College of Law. She lives in Dallas, Texas.
